Updated lists

Recap

If you didn't read a post of mine from a while back stating that during february and march I will be posting biweekly, then you now know.
That is also true for today (a day without an actual post), so I made a list of lists I've previously made and now updated.

Also my monthly wrap-ups for January-March will be in one post at the end of March, since I'm in the middle of finals now and therefore won't be writing or reading.

Fairytale Retellings pt. 3

Top 10 Disappointing

From 2 years back I have a part one with a top 5 (link), and from a couple months ago another one of those (link), so for some variety I decided to list ones that I was disappointed with.

1. Eon
Retelling of Mulan that I actually DNF'd...I really hoped that I'd like it and tried multiple times to continue it, but it just wasn't meant to be for me.

2. Sisters Red
I have a weird relationship with this one, but for the gist of why it's on this list check out TheBookSmugglers review!

3. Faery Tales & Nightmares
I don't even remember exactly what it cointained, but I do remember NOT liking it

4. Curse Dark as Gold
As a child my favourite fairytale was Rumplestiltskin, and so when I heard of this award winning retelling I was excited. But alas, I was disappointed, but it wasn't bad per se.

5. Sleeper and the Spindle
And lastly maybe a suprise? I gave it 3 stars, so I liked it, but it was a disappointment and not memorable. The illustrations were gorgeous though!

Series I Won't Continue

This is not updated anymore, last updated: July 9th 2019
For updated information check my Goodreads page: link

So this is a list of series I won't continue and how many books I have read from that series.
(Remember that I am in no way saying that these were bad books, some I have given very high ratings, but maybe I don't like the genre anymore or I though the first book worked perfectly as a standalone, and some I might come back to and continue, but at the moment I don't think that is likely.)

DNF

"Did Not Finish" Part 1.

So, as I was floating around the internet yesterday, I found this question flying in places.
Yeah I use weird terms for internet scrolling, because think about it,  it's a magical place.
So I started forming a listt, and tadaa, here it is! I don't tend to start a book and not finish it, since  I can be quite a curious person. I think I should stop though since I have So MaNy books  I should read, that I know I'll like (at least enjoy finishing), so I added series I won't be continuing.
These are my personal  thoughts so please don't get affended if you love some books here!

So to the list I gathered:
1. The Matched trilogy by Allie Condie
I read matched and it was fine. I read crossed and I greatly disliked it (I use the word hate, only in some situations since it is a strong word for something I didn't like any part about). So my point is I will not continue to Reached. I have heard it is MuCh better AnD it ends the trilogy, but I cant' do it.

2. Warriors by Erin Hunter
(I talked about this in a tag on my tumblr: booksonal if you want to read more)
But yes, so I did finish the first book in the series but found it too ridiculous to continue.

3. Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
I have read the first four, and they were fine. Not great but fine. I just have too many books to read a series that was fine (and has 15 books in it).

4. Arabel and Mortimer by Joan Aiken
I have read the first  one, and even though I enjoyed it I won't be continuing with the series.

5. Sarah Plain and Tall by Patricia MacLachan
The same witht he one before: I've read the first one but won' tcontinue to the next four.

6. Gifted by Marilyn Kaye
I read the first three and enjoyed them greatly but I don't think I will get to reading all six, since I would need to reread them first three (I have quite a bad memory if you didn't know)

Dear,
Sally
